My team and I have been in New York for about half a week. So far we have been getting to know the church we're staying at and what is nearby. Later this week, we will start our ministry outreach to the local college campuses and community.

We have today and tomorrow off to spend some time exploring New York. Today, we're hiking at a park in the afternoon and watching live music at a Fun Fest in the evening. Tomorrow, Pastor Elliott (the pastor of Crossroads Church, where we're staying) is taking us to the city.

Overall, it's been a lot of fun getting to know the church community, and I have been encouraged by their passion to share the gospel. I'm excited to start ministry this week, and see what God does!
